The Story Behind Melt Mod
Melt Mod started with the idea of creating bold, customizable objects that adapt to your space. We design products that make a statement and reflect the personality of their owners.
3D printing lets us test ideas quickly and bring them to market faster than traditional manufacturing. What began in a backyard studio became a successful Kickstarter campaign, and eventually a full online shop where we continue to produce and improve our products.
We showed up at local markets in Seattle, gathering feedback and refining the designs. People wanted bold shapes, rich colors, and the freedom to make it their own without complexity.
Today, we offer the STAK; a collection of sculptural, stackable lamps you can plug in anywhere. And this is only the beginning...
Made to Order in Seattle
Every STAK lamp is 3D-printed on demand using plant-based bioplastic. This means less waste, no mass production, and a lamp that's crafted specifically for you.
We don't carry inventory. We don't churn out thousands of the same thing. Each lamp is produced in small batches, one order at a time, in our Seattle studio.

For STAK lamps, every piece is designed to be interchangeable and stackable. Bases, shades, and body pieces all work together, which means you choose how it looks. Mix shapes, choose colors, and build something that fits your space.
