STAK Assembly Guide

All STAK lamps arrive pre-assembled, but they’re fully modular—made to be taken apart, restyled, and rebuilt however you like. Whether you're adding a new piece or swapping parts, this quick guide will walk you through disassembly and reassembly.

 

To Disassemble the STAK:

What You’ll Need:
Just your hands. No tools required.

Step-by-Step:

  1. Gently twist the lampshade counterclockwise and lift it off.

  2. Unscrew and remove the bulb.

  3. Hold the socket and pull upward to expose the cord.

  4. Slide the socket cup out of the top body piece and pass the cord through the side slot.

  5. Twist the base counterclockwise and remove.

  6. Slide the socket and cord down through the lamp body to remove it.

  7. Twist body pieces counterclockwise to separate them.

 

To Assemble the STAK:

  1. Stack the body pieces in your desired order.

  2. Twist each one clockwise until it locks in place (you’ll feel a small click.)

  3. Slide the lamp cord through the lamp from bottom to top.

  4. Attach the socket cup by sliding the lamp cord through the side slot. Seat the socket in to the socket cup and slide it in to the top piece of the lamp body.

  5. Attach the base piece and twist clockwise until it locks in place (you’ll feel a small click.)

  6. Screw in the bulb, place the lampshade back on top and gently twist clockwise  until it stops (there is no click. Do not force.)

 

 

Reminder:

  • All STAK base and body pieces are interchangeable.

  • Lampshades do not lock. Gently twist on until it stops.

  • STAK is indoor-only. Clean with a soft, damp cloth.
