STAK lamps are built on a modular system that lets you choose the size, shape, and colors. With pieces that simply twist together, you can build it how you want and add to/change it later.
Because of this design, you can also use the lamp in multiple ways. Add a simple wall mount piece and you can hang it as a sconce. Or switch to a longer lamp cord, you can simply flip it upside down to hang it from your ceiling as a pendant lamp.
Melt Mod started with a simple idea: what if the things we own could be as functional as they are aesthetic?
We created the STAK lamp—stackable lamps you can build your way—and launched on Kickstarter campaign. After a successful campaign, we opened our online store and started showing up at Seattle night markets to connect with customers and refine our designs.
Since then, we've continued to expand with new shapes, colors and styles. Every STAK lamp is 3D-printed on demand in our Seattle studio using plant-based materials. We don't mass-produce. We don't carry inventory. Each lamp is crafted specifically for you.
