Refund policy

Returns for Defects or Damage

If your item arrives defective or damaged, you have 30 days from the date of receiving your product to notify us at hello@meltmod.com. Please include photos of the product, the packaging, and a description of the issue. We'll work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. This applies to all orders, domestic and international.

Returns for Any Other Reason

  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days of receiving your item by contacting hello@meltmod.com for approval and return instructions.

  • Return shipping — US orders: Return shipping is a flat $10 and will be deducted from your refund amount. We will send you a pre-paid shipping label to use.

  • Return shipping — International orders: You are responsible for return shipping costs. We'll provide return instructions once your return is approved. We recommend using a tracked and insured service, as we can't process a refund for items lost in transit. Please note that your original shipping charges and any customs duties or taxes you paid are non-refundable.

  • Items must be returned in their original condition, undamaged, and packaged well to ensure safe transit. We ask that you use the same, or similar sized, box to ensure accurate shipping costs.

  • After the item is received and inspected, we will process your refund.

  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days and will be issued to your original payment method. Note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund. If you haven't received your refund after 15 business days, contact us at hello@meltmod.com.

Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Order Cancellations

Because our products are made on-demand, you have 24 hours from the time you place your order to cancel for a full refund. After 24 hours, production may have already begun, so a 20% restocking fee will apply to cancellations made before your order ships. This applies to both US and international orders.

We Do Not Accept Returns For

Garage Sales — Occasionally we sell products that have small blemishes that occur during the production process. They work perfectly, they just look a little less perfect. They are final sale only.

Items purchased from other stores or retailers — Your item must be returned to the original location where it was purchased.

Warranty & Support

All Melt Mod lamps include a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects, the lamp cord, and the included bulb. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, mishandling, or modification.
